NOTICE OF VACANCY

GARDEN VALLEY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Garden Valley Fire Protection District Board of Directors will fill a vacancy on their board, by appointment, on March 26, 2024. To apply for the Board member position, one must be at least 18 years of age, and must reside within the boundaries of the District. Regular Board Meeting are held the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 9:30 am, with special meetings as necessary.

Applications may be requested via email from Lisa Howard at lhoward@gardenvalley.org They may also be picked up at Garden Valley Fire Protection District Station 51. Applications will be due at the Garden Valley Fire Station 51, 4860 Marshall Road by February 26, 2024. Application may be submitted via email to lhoward@gardenvalley.org or mailed to PO Box 408, Garden Valley, Ca. 95633. Applicants will be notified during the week of February 27th, if they will be invited for an interview. Interviews will take place during the week of March 4, 2024, and the successful candidate will be notified by March 18, 2024.
