Firefighter EMT & Lateral

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/EMT with the Garden Valley Fire Protection District. Qualified candidates must hold Firefighter I and EMT certifications, with additional qualifications such as Paramedic, Firefighter II, or Engine Boss considered desirable. Applications are due no later than 1700 on August 29, 2025.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer program is the heart of Garden Valley Fire. Volunteers support fire suppression, EMS, public education, and community events. Whether you're a recruit or a seasoned resident wanting to give back, there's a place for you on our team.

Volunteer Firefighter Application

Garden Valley Fire Protection District offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals looking to serve their community, gain valuable experience, and be part of a dedicated team. Volunteer roles include Volunteer Firefighter, where you’ll train and respond alongside our career staff; Support Team Member, assisting with community events and fundraising; and Community Engagement Volunteer, helping with public events, education programs, and fire prevention outreach, or social media.
