Plan Submission
Engineering Plan Review Services
The Fire District provides engineering plan review services to ensure compliance with applicable Building Codes, Fire Codes, and NFPA Standards. These services include the review and approval of new building construction, site access, and water supply systems for subdivisions and developments; tenant improvements in existing commercial structures; installation or modification of fire suppression and life safety systems; and the evaluation of high-piled combustible storage, hazardous materials storage, and process piping systems.
Construction documents and supporting data must be submitted to the Fire District for all land development projects or for the construction, alteration, or renovation of any building requiring a permit. Plans and documents must be submitted electronically. We do NOT accept physical plans. All construction documents shall be drawn to scale and clearly indicate the location, nature, and extent of the proposed work. Plans must provide sufficient detail to demonstrate compliance with applicable fire codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations.
DISCLAIMER: Plan reviews are processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow time for our team to review your submission. Once your plans have been received and entered into our system, our Fire Inspector will contact you directly to discuss the review process, request any additional information if needed, and provide updates on the status of your submittal.
